Recently I've been adding coconut to my diet, in the form of coco-milk or oil for cooking.

Coconut has a bad rap in the US, due to some misinformation about it causing heart disease and such. The basis of this info was a study done in the 60s where lab rats were large amounts of coconut oil and died horrible deaths. However, they were fed HYDROGENATED coconut oil, which of course is definitely bad for you.

Coconut oil has no cholesterol, and is actually thermogenic (fat-burning).
It tastes damn good and will satisfy your fat cravings in a healthy way.
Plus, current research shows that it helps your body fight of disease causing pathogens (virus, bacteria, fungus, etc)

Here's a very informative site:

(no, I'm not affiliated with them in any way... )

A recipe I've been exploring is making oatmeal with coconut milk instead of regular milk or water. It's super-energising and very satisfying.
